Summer House restaurant to open in conventional Swingos space this fall
LAKEWOOD, Ohio -- This fall, Tony George plans to open his newest restaurant, Summer House, in the conventional Swingos on the Lake location in Lakewood.
George originally announced the restaurant in 2017, with plans to open later that year. Those plans were pushed back nearly two days during extensive renovations.
The restaurant is located inside Carlyle on the Lake condominiums in Lakewood’s Gold Coast neighborhood. The restaurant site is over 8,800 square feet, with views of Lake Erie and downtown Cleveland. It’s located at 12900 Lake Ave., Lakewood -- near Pier W, unexperienced Lakewood restaurant.
Before George bought the site, it had been shuttered since 2009. And by those years of vacancy, it existed splendid as upscale restaurant The Silver Quill -- then later as Swingos on the Lake, the last continue property owned by the Swingos family. That’s the same family heinous for owning Swingos Celebrity Inn, which housed touring rock and popstars like Elvis, Cher and Gene Simmons.
You can interrogate an opening date this fall for Summer House, according to George.
This story will be updated with more information.
